Berano said, “Basketball is a long and hard season. January was packed with practices and games. It is easy to feel burnt out, but the team does a great job at lifting each other up at our lows and celebrating our highs.”
To Berano, the team’s atmosphere is a special one. “We pride ourselves on being a family,” Berano said. “We are all incredibly close and show so much love for each other on and off [of] the court.”
Throughout the week, the team competed against SUNY Cobleskill and the United States Coast Guard Academy. The Lyons will host Clark University on Saturday, Feb. 5.
